Projects

Brazil's Airship Projects follow the principles of the company and its commitment to search for innovative and high-quality solutions in projects with platforms that are lighter than air.

These projects that are currently in the R & D phase and in the future may be marketed come from the perceived needs and difficulties of the logistics and security areas in Brazil and the world. They also aim to capture what exists in terms of cutting-edge technologies to integrate to the lighter than air field.

New Projects and Concepts can be presented to ADB in order to carry out a feasibility and capacity research. To this end, ADB has a team of engineers and technicians for customized products at the customers' request.

ADB 3-15/30 - Cargo Airship Project

Up to 15 tons.
Low carbon emission.
Little infrastructure requirement.

They may be employed in several areas, for example:

Remote locations without infrastructure;
Huge and indivisible payload;
High value payload.

Unmanned Airships - customized projects

They may be employed in several areas, for example:

Precision agriculture.
Surveillance.
Inspections.

Advantages:

Low energetic cost;
Great autonomy of buoyancy.

SAGA (High Altitude Atmospheric Satellite) - Stratospheric unmanned airship project.

Disruptive possibility for the future of telecommunication and remote monitoring, with:

Low lauching costs;
Larger payload capacity (compared to conventional satellites);
Relaunchable.
High data quality (due to the proximity to the surface).
Operational ceiling above the tropopause, with low wind and adverse weather conditions.

Photovoltaic Platforms - Solar energy usage for aerostat and airship systems.


Airship do Brasil studies the possibility of photovoltaic cell usage to decrease fossil fuel consumption and allow the development of renewable energy projects.
