The honorable Mr. Brigadier Maurício Pazini Brandão, MCTIC's Secretary of Applied Technologies and Dr. Dino Ishikura, General Coordinator of Strategic and Production Technologies, received the representatives of Airship do Brasil, Dr. Marcelo Augusto de Felippes, CEO, and Mr. Caio Freitas, Institutional and Commercial Manager, to update MCTIC about developments carried out and in progress by Airship do Brasil.

The presentation was initiated by the operational capacity of the Bertolini companies, followed by the innovations made by Airship do Brasil and the current certification stage of the ADB-3-3 airship, the first airship in certification in Latin America. Dr. Dino Ishikura, a former member of ANAC, knows ADB-3-3 certification process in depth and attended meetings at the Presidency of the Republic by the time ADB and Eletrobrás / Eletronorte started a joint project.

The highlight was the presentation of SAGA - High-altitude Atmospheric Satellite Program, which will enable Brazil to achieve the forefront of the development of HAPs - High Altitude Platforms.



MCTIC requested for the next meeting, on a date to be defined, technical and operational data for the conclusion of the feasibility study and subsequent inclusion of SAGA in the project maturity scale of that Ministry.
